The New Year walk was on Monday 2nd January 2023 at Seaham followed by welcome rest and warm beverage at the North Beach Coffee Bar.

November 2022 Walk
A bit late but better than never …12 members finished the walk on Monday …one for each day of Christmas…we shinrin- yoku -ed for between 6.5 and 7.3 miles depending on whose fit-bit you checked…The walk started from the club along the river and Lambton’s estate on to Elba Park, a bit of a lottery choosing the path but eventually found Bournmoor Church then back through the estate to the club. I think we were out about a couple of hours and the weather stayed dry …huzzah!

October 2022 Walk
From South Shields across on the The Tyne ferry to North Shields, then on to Cullercoats and Whitley Bay. A glorious sunny day.

August 2022 Walk
A round trip of almost eight miles from The Big Lamp to Wylam and back again was our walk today…
It was a gloriously warm day and the paths were busy…these tree lined paths offered shade and helped the nine of us complete our walk in two and a half hours whilst admiring the views and watching salmon leap …company was excellent…
plus we had an adventure ….ssh!
Terrific effort by all…it was most enjoyable …if this was part of the Commonwealth Games…I reckon we should all have gold medals…
