Wessington, Washington, Washington Village, Cestria (Chester-le-Street) and Houghton-le-Spring u3as
Wessington cooperates with four other local u3as to organise joint events and to allow members to join interest groups in one another's u3as. Links to these other club's websites are on shown below.
We originally called ourselves a Network but because we operate without a Chair or Leader we now refer to ourselves as a Partnership

Invitations
Washington Village u3a Board Games group has invited our members to join their group between 1.30 and 3.30 pm at The Cross Keys, Washington Village on the last Tuesday of the month.
Washington Whist & Dominos Group
We run Whist and Dominoes groups at Washington u3 which takes place Monday afternoons 2-4pm (alternating whist and dominoes) at Woodridge Gardens Columbia. Unfortunately, our numbers are falling and I wonder if you could asap tell your members about these groups in the hope that they might like to join. They will be made very welcome and hopefully we can enjoy these activities together. Please contact me via our website for more details.
Washington Village Bridge Group
My name is Peter Wilkinson and I'm the group leader of a bridge group in Washington Village u3a. Our group is only eight members and we often struggle to get enough attendees to play a game. I wondered if there is any interest in Wessington u3a members to join our group.
Meetings are every Friday at 1.30 pm at the Biddick Inn.
Beginners are also very welcome to join us, as training will be given if needed.
