Our walks are generally around six miles and within easy driving distance. We have annual meeting generally in February to decide which places we would like to walk. Some walks may include stiles, rough paths and some uphill trails.

Recent Walks 2024
October Walk
The walking group had great weather for the Derwent Valley walk on the 14th October. Beautiful scenery along the way. Terrain was flat and easy underfoot so would recommend this walk if you want to visit. Lovely cafe too! Sue
May Walk
Lambton Estate Walk. Approx 4 miles...a bit rugged and hilly in parts.
Monday’s walk around Lambton Estate made extra special by the great weather. Sue
April Walk
South Shields Ferry across the Tyne to North Shields, Tynemouth to Cullercoats and the Spanish City.
Included a lovely cuppa and scone break at the 'Beaches and Cream' cafe.
