History Pin run by Washington Heritage Group - Pop up group

Five members of the Wessington u3a are participating in washington Heritage Partnership on a project called The History Pin. We have also researched and prepared a walks in the area.

We meet once a month at the Council Offices in Albany, Washington, usually a Tuesday 12-2.30 pm, to have a presentation about aspects of research, updating the History Pin digital map and also to discuss ideas and share information.

The walk from St George’s Church to Cox Green and then (including a short swim where the south bankside has fallen into the river) back to Fatfield Bridge. It is a heritage/history walk.
