Delaval Hall Visit - Friday 24th March 2023
The self drive visit to the National Trust property, Delaval Hall on March 24th was well attended. We were given a interesting and informative talk by a volunteer and then toured the house. It followed a fascinating talk at our u3a by Liz Finch so we were very keen to visit and learn more.
The rooms have been set out in a controversial way which will appeal to some and not others.
As we met in the café it was a social as well as an educational visit.
As it was self drive there was opportunity to explore the grounds too, although I think I can accurately state that none of our party tried out the play area.
From dancing on the ceiling to extravagant wigs, lots of fun from our visit to Seaton Delaval Hall!
