Visit Reviews 2024

Wynyard Gardens - September 2024
What a difference a day makes!! Although there was an occasional light shower the day was warm with a few glimpses of sunshine. A very pleasant relaxing day with friends. Although the gardens are past there best there were still plenty to see and admire. A lovely walk down by the river and Wynyard Hall then back to the cafe for a delicious light lunch. Thank you to everyone who came for our trip out. So nice to have a catch up with everyone. Sally

Thornton Hall Gardens - June 2024
The weather wasn’t as kind as it could have been but that didn’t detract from the beautiful gardens and enjoyment of each other’s company. The gardens never fail to be stunning.
A lovely day out with many friends.

Harrogate Flower Show - April 2024
We expected rain and we got it!! Didn’t seem to make any difference to everyone as there were smiles and laughter all around. There were some stunning displays and judging by the bags being carried around, bargains to be had. Thank you to everyone who came.
Good company all around.

Crook Hall Gardens - March 2024
A good visit to this little gem of a garden. We were all so enthusiastic and keen to be out and about that we had to wait for the coffee shop to open!!
Lovely to see the gardens starting to come to life after the long winter. The Camellias, Dwarf Tulips and Daffodils were lovely to see on this damp overcast morning.
Great to see you all there...Sally

Visits 2023

Wynyard Gardens September 2023
We all had a fabulous day at Wynyard Gardens. The weather was perfect for a stroll around the gardens and estate. So quiet and peaceful. There were plenty of seating areas to sit and look at the fountains and gardens. It was good to have a catch up, and yes the cheese scones were delicious.

Alnwick Gardens May 2023
It was a fabulous day at Alnwick gardens. The cherry blossom was a little past it’s best but there was still blossom out in other parts of the garden. Plenty to see and enjoy.
The weather was perfect. A really enjoyable day out.

Harrogate Flower Show Sunday April 2023
What a fabulous way to spend a Sunday with family and friends at the flower show. The usual wonderful flower displays and stalls selling everything required to make our gardens beautiful. It was good to see everyone and the journey to and from Harrogate in the luxury coach provided by Gardiners with their excellent driver Paul was very much appreciated.
Some photos from Sally.
It was certainly a bonus to have good weather with sunshine as we were all expecting to get a little bit wet sometime throughout the course of the day.

March Visit 2023
Howick Hall, gardens and Arboretum March 2023
Although we were dubious about the weather today it turned out better than we thought. We missed the rain and even had some sunshine!!
The glorious snowdrops were out in abundance as well as there being lots of colour from other plants and bushes.
The hall was beautiful and interesting. Loved the chandeliers.
We can recommend the quaint café. The food was delicious. Altogether a great day out.
